When a Human Rights Advocate Turns to Fashion? A Bold New Chapter.

When a Human Rights Advocate Turns to Fashion? A Bold New Chapter.

Dear Friends,

For over two decades, I worked with the United Nations and global non-profits, championing human rights, advocating for gender equality, and building programs to promote and protect the human rights of vulnerable communities.

Whether it was advancing the rule of law, amplifying the voices of women and children, or addressing human trafficking and disability rights, my career was deeply fulfilling, and purpose driven.

In 2022, I decided to embark on a new chapter—one rooted in creativity and personal expression.

The fashion brand Vikkie Oh Atelier Ltd. (Kenya) was born.

What might seem like a shift from advocacy to fashion is, in reality, a continuation of my core mission: empowering people.

At Vikkie Oh Atelier, we create bespoke designs that allow individuals to express themselves, celebrate their unique stories, and feel confident in their own skin.

Just as my work in human rights was about dignity and inclusion, my designs are about making people feel seen, valued, and extraordinary.

I encourage you to embrace your own transitions—whether big or small.

Each step forward, no matter how uncertain, is an opportunity to grow, redefine your purpose, and rediscover your passions.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration, or the perfect outfit for the weekend, try our new Bibi dress https://lnkd.in/dGq4hrUm and discover timeless, custom-made designs that celebrate confidence, individuality and elegance.

I wish you all love, laughter, and the courage to chase your dreams. Here’s to celebrating life’s transformations—both big and small ✨🥂🎁
